Kirksville, MO -- In a stunning example of silencing free speech, an American based web site hosting company, Server Beach, shut down a number of American web sites as part of its sale to Peer 1 of Canada.
Vanguard News Network (VNN), which operates a number of free speech web sites and message forums, was abruptly shut down two days ago.
According to sources inside VNN, the sites were shut down as a condition of the sale of Server Beach because the buyer, said to be Peer 1, feared such sites would violate Canadian "hate speech" laws.
Canada likes to claim it is a "free country" but this incident exposed Canadian "freedom" to be a massive fraud.
VNN operated VanguardNewsNetwork.com, GoVNN.com, VNNForum.com and other sites. On those web sites, people from all over the world were treated to bold, uncensored news and opinions. They were able to share their thoughts on controversial subjects such a race, religion, politics and sexuality.
Since most subscribers to those sites were heterosexual, white, non-jews, the VNN sites were deemed "hateful!"
Under Canadian laws, one cannot discuss matters of race, express certain religious beliefs or be critical of "alternative" sexual lifestyles because such opinions are deemed "hate" under Canadian Laws.
If not deemed directly to be "hate," any such conversations are deemed to "incite hatred" against certain (deviant) protected groups and thus are in violation of another Canadian law, "Inciting hatred."
As such, the source from inside VNN says Peer 1 decided they would not permit VNN sites to remain active once they purchased Server Beach.
Alex Linder, Owner of VNN could not be reached for comment.
Americans often think of their neighbor to the north as a "free" country. It is not. Canada is a bastion of politically-correct tyranny. Canadians who say otherwise are clearly delussional or simply liars.
President Bush has given numerous speeches over the past few years about "ending tyranny" around the world. Maybe he should order the military to attack Canada. It is clearly a tyrannical nation, a proven threat to free speech and is dangerously close to America.
